It was a little tricky getting it on the strap, but that just means that i will never have to worry about it ever coming off unless I want to take it off, and that's not likely. I do have to say that I am very pleased with this quick release buckle. I had 2 plastic ones prior to this, that broke. This is metal, and I'm not going to have to worry about it breaking. I was a little put off with it at first, before I ordered it, because of the price. I just felt it was a little steep.
