The light design and usage is good but the setup of the light and integrate with Alexa is very counter intuitive

I've tested dozens of "smart bulbs" over the years and this ranks up there as one of the better purchases. The bulb integrates well with the Wiz companion app which is all I tested and can't speak for other services. The app offers plenty of options to tweak the bulb from brightness, mood settings, and color temp.The color reproduction is one of the best, usually, bulbs that offer multiple color temp options are awful and the Kelvin levels are way off. This bulb on the other hand has close to a true color temperature which is a bonus.The biggest drawback for me is all my smart home products are integrated into the Smart Life app, I couldn't get this bulb to pair with the service and for some that won't be a deal breaker, for me it is. I don't want multiple apps for managing these products so unfortunately it's being returned back. For some, this may not be an issue as there are other options like Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri Shortcuts that it works with.At around £12 it’s competitively priced and the settings from withing the Wiz app offer plenty of tweaking for those that want refined controls.

These bulb exceeded our expectations. We have our house completely kitted out with Philips Hue bulbs, but we bought a large light for our dining table area and needed to have clear bulbs with filaments to get that antique look to our lights. We didn't like the look of the Philips filaments for this particular light fitting and that's when we discovered these Wiz lights.Set up was really easy through the Wiz app on your phone, and they integrated easily to Alexa so that they work really well alongside our Philips lights.You can control the colour temperature of the bulbs between a very bright and cool white to a nice warm antique looking effect. We also bought the Wiz remote which allows us to quickly change settings without having to use an app or talk to Alexa, and this also works really well.You can set up schedules for turning them on and off either through the Wiz app or in your Alexa app. Brilliant value for money as they are much cheaper than Philips lights.
