These mattresses are very comfortable. I can see why someone would be wary of a mattress that comes out of a box but honestly, these are nice especially if you have a bad back as I do. At first, I ordered the King and got a Queen size mattress. I was concerned how this company would handle it, but they were very gracious and sent the right size mattress out and all was fine. It's great when you can deal with a company as easily and as quickly as they were to deal with. I would absolutely do business with them again and recommend this mattress to anyone thinking to replace theirs. I would recommend that if you have a regular box springs, to keep it and just put this mattress over the old box springs unless you happen to also be ordering a special frame made specifically for these new mattresses. In which case, those new frames are higher and have advantages of their own i.e. being able to use the space underneath the bed for storage which is also good. But, if you have a regular bed frame or a headboard that you like and it matches the rest of your bedroom furniture, just keep your original box springs and you'll be all set to go.

We haven't even had this mattress for a week and our nights are already better! It only took about an hour to be ready to use out of the box! Box is about 70lbs?- we got the California King, but it wasn't overwhelming getting into our room or anything.I wasn't sure what to expect from the "medium support", but this is absolutely perfect! ( I only rated 3* softness bc this wasn't advertised as a pillow top or soft mattress and didn't want to mislead anyone) The support is amazing, and I even seem to fall asleep faster. My partner, dog and myself have been like 3 snoring babies lately, and we're no longer woken by each other's movements throughout the night either, due to the sponge-like cloud material this thing's made of.10/10 would recommend this mattress to anyone questioning getting a new one!

Its more on the soft side.

I really like Sleep Innovations mattresses - this is our third one. Easy to set up, no chemical smells or weird stuff to report. This one is slightly soft so super comfy for guests but possibly too soft for an everyday sleeper. Still, the price is right and no one has complained about this mattress so if you need a budget friendly mattress and getting overwhelmed by all of the choices just get this one. But remember, it’s slightly soft so make sure this is what you are looking for.

If you’re looking for firm this is not the mattress. This was my 4th sleep innovations purchase. I would recommend the hudson

It is the most comfortable mattress I’ve owned and it has taken away pain I had on my lower back .
