Unit Did Not Appear New, Video Card Problems and Non Functional Keyboard Keys
I purchased the Lenovo M70Q w/ 32GB RAM, 1 TB SSD. When attempting to set it up, a key on the keyboard was non-functional so I could not even log on to my account to set it up. Fortunately I still had my old keyboard, so I finally got it set up. Next I discovered there was no Lenovo software on the drive. In particular the migration assistant was missing so set up was far more work than I had hoped. I looked at the warranty status, and it reported only 6 months remaining! This did not appear to be a new PC. Finally the last straw, and the biggest problem….The video graphics card malfunctioned on the second and third day (see attached video) to the point where I lost all my work as I couldn’t read the monitor and had to do a forced shutdown. This was a terrible experience and I returned it to Amazon.

This is a really old version of the computer (5 years old), but decently priced.
It was produced five years ago and is really old processor, but the features and pricing is decent. I would not recommend it for a security system with cameras. After setting it up for BlueIris, the CPU usage was too high for me. With 5 HD cameras, it was at 70%. Cranking out lot's of heat. Decided to keep it, but not for home security. The size is great! And like the Thunderbolt so I can expand it with it more monitors. I came up with it being about $300 cheaper then the latest generation of processors for the same config.
