Patriots: The Men Who Started the American Revolution

Founding Fathers of liberty
Langguth wrote a noteworthy book, a smooth read, & the best profiles Iโve read. They were men of faiths, gave selflessly to provide the framework, our foundation & guide to centuries of freedom. Funny thing, they didnโt necessarily like each other, but they did respect each manโs contribution. They sacrificed family time & personal work, over years, to build the gift of liberty. That freedom ALLOWS our personal choices in how we pay it forward as responsible citizens.

Decent condition for a very good book
Shipping was fast and the item was packaged well, The book itself was at the lower end of its quality level, yet it will be a good addition to my history collection. I used to list books for myself and for a liquidator, so I am very aware of quality and value - this was a very good value! I'll give it a little boost for the service.

In Depth History of The Revolutionary War
I picked this book up on the recommendation of another and was pleasantly surprized by the structure of the book and the way the author developed the narrative. The author absolutely brought to life historical figures and really was the best treatment of Samuel Adams I've yet to see. Also, I especially appreciate the author's treatment of the period from 1760 to the battle of Lexington and Concord. This gave me an understanding of the impetus to war that I was lacking before, and I am interested in this era! I would not hesitate to encourage anyone who is interested in this period to invest their time and money in this book.

Excellent!
A complete revelation of the events leading up to and during the American Revolution, this account is comprehensive even to the private remarks and frequent squabbles that often seemed to consume the men and women involved. It is not only informative, but also entertaining and difficult to put down, as only the very best histories can claim!
