Now that I regularly do my nails I have been super interested in stamping. As a traditional fine line ink and paint focused artist I've always painted my french tip and designs. I'm a super busy mom nowadays and I need to be a nail ninja to have a new set. The French tip tool is very easy to use once I figured out the technical skill. My daughter is four and also loves nails. I actually do sets with her and give her a stamper to use with het kids polish. I bought this set because she took the stamper that came with my stamp sheets and sort of ruined it. I use beetles polish still but sandwiched or as effects. While I have moved onto other brands I still have fondness for my first gel brand. An affordable brand that is beginner friendly will always hold a little place in my heart. Just like student grade art tools still grace a professional art studio as risk free creative time. The tools are beautiful and minimalist. I appreciate the clear design. The cards are a good weight and thickness. The drying time after cleaning when needed is fast. I actually like this set much more. The wide stout stamper is durable. It also has better application area. The standard or french is great as well. The price makes me feel fine using the set to the full potential while learning. I'm happy!

Easiest way to do French tips! I have avoided doing French tips on myself because it is hard to hand paint them. This tool is a game changer! I paint a small line of white on the squishy surface and dig the tip of my nail into the area, depositing the white onto the tip. It works beautifully and I’m so excited to have discovered this method. I like a thin French tips (see pic), but I’m sure it’d work for a thicker one too.

Excellent brush, it’s very pigmented. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because, if you don’t continuously, make sure it’s well mixed, the gold pigment settles to the bottom and the silver base is all that becomes apparent. I added a picture of a deop that had been allowed to sit for a few minutes next to a drop I had just applied to the mixing slab from the freshly mixed bottle. It does still look pretty gold when cured, even if it hasn’t been properly mixed, but it’s not going to be quite as gold if you’re not actively swirling the brush in the bottle before each nail. Otherwise, it’s incredibly pigmented, it’s not see-through at all, the brush is very, very easy to work with, and it cures perfectly. So, as long as you make sure it’s mixed well and keep an eye on that, I would highly recommend this product. I’m very happy with it. I bought a vortex mixer so that I could more easily mix my polishes and I found that if I hold this product on the vortex mixer for about 20 seconds right side up and then flip it upside down and then do another 20 seconds of mixing, it’s usually just fine and then just needs the occasional stir during the service. I added a picture of the vortex mixer as well. I also used the gold in some marble nails and it was beautiful. I made what I think is a hideous nail design, but it does show you how thin of lines you can make just with the brush it comes with and then I used a doting tool to make the flower “seeds” so that I have an alternative to those little metal balls that like to fall off.

I think it’s a great affordable option. I prefer silver over gold but I may get the gold color of this too. I’d give this like a 98% chrome effect. It’s definitely chrome. I think depending on the top coat you use it may impact the look of the chrome. I added a silver chrome powder over it and it still looks good. I don’t think my top coat has caused any issues but I could definitely see it happening for some people. I only use one currently cause I find most are foggy after curing (idk why and idk how to fix lol). As for my nails the main color looks way warmer than in real life, so it may look off. I did a free style basic set and wanted to try this chrome and wanted to also try to swirl pearlescent cat eye so I did it in one set. Good quality at affordability.

At first it was a little hard to use because i didn’t have experience. But you just need a little bit of practice and that’s it. Now it feels so easy to use and my nails look so good. I receive many compliments.

The gold can be inconsistent even with a lot of mixing or shaking of the polish. It also is hard to get the excess off of the plastic that hold the brush so it wants to drip on the nail. Thick applications are hard to cure and can cause issues and stickiness. It also likes to chip or damage even with a thick top coat when it's raised whatsoever. Sometimes the color can come out a bit silver especially when put next to other polish colors. I will continue to use it because it's hard to find a smoother gold polish that can be used for detailing without the need for a powder or chrome on top. It can look beautiful, but the application is not consistent. It doesn't have any stronger odor than any other gel polish.

I am glad I give it a try. I am soooo happy with the results. Pictures speak 100 words. I did 2 coatings, 1st light and let it dry. The second over came out perfect and finished w a clear top.
