Creates Some Pretty Neat Projects
I purchase this powder with the sole intent of making a craft for the kids at my daughterโs blacklight/glow party. I liked the assortment of colors that I received. It seemed like it was not a lot, but the powder went a long way. We made glow rice with the powder (you can find instructions how to do it online). The craft turned out amazing. The rice glowed in the dark and also under blacklight. As you probably already know, you have to charge the pigment with a light source to get it to glow in the dark. It will glow for about 3 minutes or so, depending on the light source and the amount of exposure to it. It will have a continuous glow under black light. The rice containers were like little beacons. There was enough powder for about 5 small containers of the glow rice. I will admit, that being my first time, I was so nervous. However, I was very happy how it turned out. I highly recommend this powder to take your crafts to the next level.

Radiant "radium" for theatrical use!
I mixed 1/4 teaspoon of this powder with about 1 teaspoon of glycerin in a small glass vial (to create fake "radium"). After just a short period of exposure to the sun, it glowed marvelously in a dark closet. I also tried mixing the same amount of powder with clear nail polish for a thicker option. Vials with cork lids tend to leak, so I will likely opt to use just the powder in one of these vials. (The powder, when exposed to sunlight, also glows quite well without a medium...you just have to make sure all areas of the vial have been exposed to the sun). Using straight powder also solves the problem of the powder settling at the bottom of the vial (as it did when mixed with glycerin or clear nail polish).

Beautiful vibrant color!
I love this powder. It is VERY fine. Beyond perfect texture. Iโm layering resin with powder and sparkles for more depth. Itโs perfect!!!

Great for secret murals, but some glow more than others
I used these powders mixed with Golden Acrylic Satin Glazing Liquid for a secret painting on a wooden bookcase. It worked great!! You truly can't see the "neutral" paint in regular light except due to the liquid medium's texture at a certain angle. My method was to use a concentrated amount of powder and a small amount of liquid medium and slowly dilute, to make sure it would be glowy enough when mixed. I used thin layers & slowly added layers to concentrate glow color. Because it's powder, if you touch the surface latter there will be a gritty texture. It also doesn't exactly "blend" the way paint does to mix colors since it's all tiny little dots. But it layers. Since my bookcase was somewhere not exposed to the sun I could only rely on 2 blacklight flashlights to charge the glow paint...charging was cumbersome. In my experience, holding the light on a specific section of the mural for a few seconds per spot made it glow for maybe a minute before it was invisible again....it started fading immediately. Green by far glowed the brightest with only slight charging. Keep this in mind since if you use it mostly for highlights or accents, that'll be the only thing showing after a minute if you don't have a good charging source. Aqua by far glowed the longest - it was the only one that lasted for many minutes after a brief charge. It looks more like a cool green when glowing rather than a true blue-green. Dark blue took the most intensive charging to show up and faded quickly. White & light blue were somewhere in between. The LED keychain flashlight included is bright but doesn't cover much surface area for charging a large piece. Therefore, if you're doing a mural I'd recommend strategically placing it somewhere sunny. If you can't, maybe stick to the green and aqua. Despite the limitations (which others may not experience) I am really pleased with how these glow powders performed! With an investment in a blacklight flood light or something stronger covering a broader area, these issues are probably resolvable. If it's helpful I can upload pics later.

Lovely colors with glow !
Pretty glow colors . Used this with epoxy and they turned out looking like cute โgummy bearsโ - the glow is pretty good too. Different colors glow better / more vibrant .

This glows for a very long time
I use this glow in the dark powder to make night sights. It glows for hours and hours when charged with a UV light. If you need to get on target in low light conditions, this is the stuff to use. Very inexpensive way to make night sights. Mixed with fast setting 2-part epoxy, it makes a very durable sight. Different colors of this powder have very different glow times and brightness. This neutral green is very bright and easily glows for 7-8 hours when charged with a UV light and seems to be the longest lasting followed closely by the neutral aqua. If you are looking for inexpensive DIY night sights, give this a try. It is impressive stuff.

This stuff GLOWS!!
This should be known right up front, the amount you see in the photos is a flat, clear PACKET like a ziplock bag. You do not get much, but a little goes a long way. High-quality powder, man! I used the basic fluorescent green/neutral to make some glowing ooze for a Casey Jones (TMNT) costume. I only sprinkled in about 1/8th of the ounce packet into 20oz of clear green slime and it was perfect! It fogged it up just a bit which was exactly what I wanted! This stuff is the most concentrated powder I have ever used. This stuff glows better then some designer watches.

glow good, not hard plastic containers
I'm only giving this three stars becauseit looks like this comes in small hard plastic containers. It comes in plastic pouches.. Now, here's the thing . . . the glow is terrific. Use an ultra-violet (black light) flashight or lamp and it will glow for a while. At night with your eyes night vision adjusted, it looks good. Just don't expect to read a book by the light.
