How does this product work?

So amazing. You have to turn on the switch of the Film Viewer light board first. Then put the film negatives on the illuminated light board. Now download the FilmBox APP on your mobile phone. Then open the software to scan the film negatives. It can scan film negatives into digital color photos and save them in my mobile phone photo album. This is really amazing and happy for me. It's really convenient to have colorful photos!

Can I use this with my phone and really old negatives? The big ones, too big to use with my Kodak negative scanner.

As noted in their ad, the screen size is 5x4. I have copied only Kodachrome slides going back to the early 1940’s with my iPhone pro max. I have had great success copying and enchanting with my iPhone. They advertise that negatives can be copied.

Does this come with a 9v1a power adapter? if not where can i get one?

If you do use a 9v adapter, kiss your panel goodbye. The images very clearly show a 5v adapter--it's 5v because it's a USB connector and that is all the voltage that is available with a USB socket. NOTE: Not all USB sockets will supply enough CURRENT to run the panel.

Can slides be placed directly on pad to photograph?

I placed each slide on the light box (switch turned on) and then took a photo with my iPhone. Once I viewed it on my iPhone, I made any enhancements with my iPhone and then transferred them to my iMac photo library file. You could also transfer them directly and make the enhancement through your iMac edit features. Quite simple.
