Great pack!
It just showed up, I loaded it and wow! I'm really impressed, this is a great pack.I'm very much looking forward to taking it out on the trail. The back frame is just like they say, really ventilated, and it literally does not touch your back in the middle.Nice job Kelty!

My Go To Weekend Pack
From doing weekend trips to summiting Mt.Whitney it’s been solid.PROS:-pretty light considering the burly materials and steel frame used.-airflow is amazing-lower straps to compress the pack or attach external gear like a sleeping pad.-side zipper to access main compartment without opening it. Great spot to store a delicate down jacket.-outer stretch pockets are good for things you need quick access to.-tons of compression straps to really stabilize your gear or to give you the ability to make it smaller for smaller loads.CONS:-Could be a little more padded in the shoulder straps and waist belt but it is intended for lighter loads. I’d max out at 30 lbs tbh.-NOISY! I used some duct tape on the metal frame to reduce squeaking coming from the contact of fabric with the frame. I’ve been able to fit in my usual lightweight backpacking kit AND a large bear canister (BV500) so if I am real careful with the rest of my gear weight I can definitely make this work for a week long trip! For the price this is a solid pack. I like how it’s fairly light but I don’t have to be so careful with it. It can be used many different ways. From a lightweight backpacking setup to a heavier setup day hike.
