WAY better than the competition at this price point
MSI makes good components. Tech support is mediocre, but far better than other budget brands. Id rank them middle of the pack. Drivers work. Additional software is hit and miss, and thats from build to build. Anyway, I've had numerous msi parts and I know what to expect. Good quality and stability. Not the best, far from the worst. This board went to replace a competitor board that failed on 3 separate machines. I wont say the brand they replaced, just know that these MSI were both a little cheaper (fewer ports & features), but rock solid stable.

Great basic LGA1200 motherboard
Perfect motherboard for a basic LGA1200 build. You have one CPU fan and one SYS fan header, one M.2 key M slot that supports an NVMe SSD, one PCIe x16 and one PCIe x1 slot, and 2 XMP-enabled RAM slots supporting up to 64GB. There’s no built-in wifi/Bluetooth and no M.2 key E so plan for using either wired internet or PCIe x1 / USB networking.

Good option for non hard core gamers or entusiast
It's not the most basic nor the more complete board, but for most users it's what you need. It gives you some room for RAM and CPU OC depending on your CPU choice. Keep in mind to take advantage of PCIe speed, it works as 3.0 or 4.0 according to the CPU (ej. i3 10th gen works as 3.0). It has just one PCIe x1 line so it is not fast enough for a top extra NVME SSD drive or 10 Gps USB C back header!

Crashes consistently and Broke in under half a year
Would cause a communication error between the cpu and gpu and cause a crash if i didn't have a game open constantly, and crapped itself out in less than half a year and now i can't launch my pc. Just in general if u wanna do a smaller form factor build just switch off of the intel chipset

Good budget Motherboard
motherboard works as advertised. just remember theres only 2 ram slots and 1 m.2 nvme slot. and no rgb headers. corners were cut to make this motherboard less expensive but still does its job. i have a rtx 3060 and intel i5 10400f connected to it.

MSI motherboards are Rock Solid
What a fantastic motherboard. I have built many PCs in my lifetime and I've never had an MSI motherboard fail me yet. Other brands have let me down several times. For me, it's MSI for a fool proof build.

The motherboard would not boot and after running the EZ Debug it seems that the DRAM on the motherboard is the issue (see photo). Hope it works after cleaning otherwise will have to return it.

The DIMMA1 slot does not work I am installing two identical rams and only the first slot does not work only the DIMMA2 slot works by placing one memory at a time in the same slot that is why I cannot use this motherboard.
