This is my first time using a gel polish that requires curing with UV or LED light. I was skeptical because I've been doing my own nails forever with regular polish and some fast-drying types, and I'm pretty good at it. But it does take a long time to dry, and I end up doing them over a couple days to really let them harden, which gets in the way of other activities. SO - I bought a very inexpensive light, some inexpensive base- and top-coat, and this set of six Modelones holiday nail colors as a frugal way to dip my toes in so to speak. Well I'm very surprised - not just the great quality, but that I did a pretty good job and it was a quick process all the way through! These pictures show almost two weeks wear, and they still had perfect gloss, no chipping, no scratches or dulling, no wear at the edges, no lifting (these are my natural nails btw, no tips). The polish is very smooth and easy to apply, and the color is quite saturated, so you may be able to use just one coat like I did. That may depend on the color you choose. All in all a great value and I've already bought another set of colors by Modelones.

I purchased the nice jelly set as a first time trying gel at home. The colors are perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Bit of advice for people doing their gel nails for the first time: make sure you have a good lamp, buy a base and top coat, and make sure when you apply the polish, you apply it neatly and make sure it does not touch any part of your skin. The only time I had issues with polish was when I accidentally got some outside of my nail bed and within a few days that started to lift and the polish peeled. If you apply it precisely, it lasts well over a week. Great product and great price.

I love this gel nail polish set. The fall colors are beautiful, rich, and exactly like the pictures. The formula is smooth and easy to apply, with good pigmentation—only two thin coats are needed. It cures well under a UV/LED lamp and lasts a long time without chipping. The polish gives a shiny, professional-looking finish. This set is perfect for at-home manicures or salon practice. Great quality for the price!

Shade #0595 I love this set of polishes! I’ve only used #0595 so far. After applying two coats, I realized the color was somewhat lighter than shown in the picture. Pros: Nice neutral color palette ⭐️ Nice applicator brush. ⭐️ Perfect consistency for application. ⭐️ Lasted two weeks without any chips or breaks. ⭐️ Nicely & securely packaged for storage. ⭐️ Cons: Bottles are a bit smaller than expected. Difficult to identify bottle colors - poor labeling.

Great colors, goes on smoothly, not too thick but solid enough for one coat, quickly balances out and cures quickly! All in all, great product and value!

I purchased about 2 weeks ago so I was able to try 2 colors. So far, I get a lot of compliments on the colors. My co workers are excited when I have a new color on to see the change. I have recommended it too. It doesn't last as long as I hoped, about a week before its peeling up or off. Either I'm putting it on too thick or it's just not that durable. I just peeled off by hand, the 2nd color tonight, no need to soak it off and I have prepared my nails for a new color tomorrow. I hate having to paint my nails every week but, they have been protected from breaking so they are growing out longer since using this polish. That's a plus. Overall, I'm happy with it. It's easy to put on and faster than going to a nail salon.

Very nice set of colors. Everything arrived when it was supposed to. Priced very reasonably. Overall is a good product.

I really wanted to like this Modelones rubber base set, but unfortunately what arrived was unusable. The bottles appeared factory sealed, so this isn’t a returned item issue. However, most of them were nearly empty, and the product inside was a thick, clumping mess, not the smooth gel consistency you need for applying a rubber base. What I appreciated: The color range (nude, milky pink, jelly brown) is beautiful and versatile. The idea of a 6-in-1 strengthening base is great for weak nails. The problems: Bottles are very small (see photo with quarter for scale). What little product remained was too clumpy to apply evenly. I could not get a usable layer for apex building or extension. Final verdict: This might be a bad batch or a quality control issue. If you receive a fresh, full bottle, the formula could work well. But based on what I received I returned it. I would not repurchase unless Modelones addresses consistency and fill levels. Tip for buyers: Open and inspect yours immediately after delivery. If it’s clumpy or low, return it right away.
