I was so excited to see that the Boglins are back! I remember these from the 80’s and now it’s like a nostalgia dream come true. The new version of the Boglins allow you to control both the eyes and the mouth, whereas the vintage version only allowed you to control the mouth. So neat!

Ok this is almost everything you want and expect from the boglin line. The glow in the dark feature was an unexpected surprise being I had the original bog o bones release without the allover glow

I always wanted one of these as a kid, now I’m 40And I have it! My kids love it and it seems to be very sturdy. Get a UV flashlight though if you are wanting it to really glow.

The box was destroyed and the boggling has damage all over it. Mouth was also stained from people touching it.

Boglin is cool; however, it arrived all banged up and beat up. The box(cage) is all messed up! Places were torn and it looked like it had been under something heavy. I was relieved that the boglin wasn’t damaged. I’m not sure if this was seller or postal service, but it arrived in rough condition.

Meinen ersten Boglin habe ich 1987 gekauft. Ich kann mich noch gut erinnern, wie ich damals als Kind in der Spielzeugabteilung fasziniert von der Optik vor dem Regal stand. Damals hat es mich bestimmt vier Wochen gekostet, meine Mutter zu überzeugen.Inzwischen sind viele Jahre vergangen, doch die Faszination für das Design ist irgendwie geblieben. Bezüglich der verschiedenen Varianten ist Bogobones in meinen Augen nicht zu toppen. Mit seinem schwarz-weiß Kontrast und den vertikalen Streifen an Lippen und Nase erinnert er ein wenig an eine Tim-Burton-Figur oder Beetlejuice. Das ablösen des Boglin ist etwas arg fummelig aber das gehört irgendwie auch dazu. Ansonsten wirken die Teile absolut robust, auch der 1987 Boglin Ist für sein Alter noch sehr gut erhalten und diese neue Auflage wirkt ähnlich stabil. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass trotz der vielen Jahre, welche seither vergangen sind, die Boglins wirken, als wären sie aus einem Guss produziert und kontinuierlich fortgeführt worden. Der Glow-in-the-Dark-Effekt ist kräftig und kann sich wirklich sehen lassen. Auch das traditionelle Käfigdesign der Verpackung wurde einerseits gewahrt und andererseits erneuert.Ich finde die Teile immer noch klasse und wer das Retro-Feeling von damals sucht, der wird hier sicher fündig.
