Not for starter youth
I had high hopes for this but it does not fit the youth as that’s what it was made for. The straps where it connects to the chin pad have metal connectors so with that setup the chin strap acts as a swing so any force up or down on the helmet causes it to come off. It might work for adult but would not recommend this for youth. My child is a starter for size reference

Did not fit on an adult large helmet
Didn't fit on my helmet so I had to mail it back and order a new one. wasn't too happy

Perfect
Great chin strap! Color was right on, fit perfect for a youth player. Best of all it was easy for my 10year old son to buckle on his own. He says it's much more comfortable than his schutt gel chin strap and doesn't slip.

Just what the boy wanted!
My son needed a chin strapped o help keep helmet in place without chaffing his chin. The gel pad is great at doing that, in addition it is nice & bright,easy to install.
