She is 35l lbs give or take. This is just right for her with say 5 lbs wiggle room . The Seat is positioned pretty high which is nice because she can lay down and still see out from a laying position. I do not use the cushion to me it just makes it to high and her unbalanced. I put the seat in the back seat and turned it length way using the front passenger seat as a brace. This way I can bring down the middle arm rest in the back seat. I also using the seat belt and enclosed strap along with a harness to keep her secure. She has plenty of room to turn around, sit up, lay down and be comfortable . I like the material it is washable. I got the black because I have a black dog. I also like the drawer. I keep extra poop bags, water bowl , leash , bones and toys for travel. All in all I am very happy with this purchase.
