Big numbers, easy to read, like the coating.

One of the other reviews stated that the band in the picture is a metal clip to keep the tape neatly folded. It is not a clip. It is a shiny piece of heavy paper. It looks nice, but it is meant to be discarded.The tape doesn't seem like cloth but it is as flexible as you would expect a cloth tape to be. It isn't stiff like cheaper tapes. It has inches printed on one side, centimeters printed on the other. The fact that it measures up to 96 inches rather than 60 is great considering much of the obese population of the US is pushing a 60 inch waistline now. My own is 64 inches, so the old standard of 60 just doesn't work anymore.I am losing weight and lately have been interested in tracking my progress. Before long I should be able to use a 60 inch tape, but it is nice to have one that will let me start where I am now, not where I would like to be in the future. When I am smaller, the great news is this tape will still work!Having centimeters is a benefit, since many things are more accurately sized in centimeters.

It gets frustrating when you need to measure something and don't have a tape measure long enough for the job. Now I do. And I'm getting a backup, just in case, lol.

Needed to mount a Garmin Radar on a fiberglass hard top. The surface has a gradual curve. Having to bend a regular tape measure to get an accurate measurement is such a pain in the rear. This tape measure made it very easy to find the center of that curved surface.

Since my ancient cotton fabric tape disappeared in my latest move, I found I needed a replacement. All I wanted was one that I could use to measure my own body dimensions when making or buying new clothing or knitwear. Guesswork gets expensive when guesses are wrong. I don't exchange items often, so I wanted to get it right the first time. This new tape is easily affordable and will last many years. The extra length enables correct measures in any situation for which a soft measure is appropriate. And the cost? Mere coins.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the tape-measure. It is flexible, yet does not stretch. That's a good thing. One side has inches, the other has centimetres. Comparing it to a couple of my metal tape measures, it seemed to be accurate. The numbers are nice an large, so my old eyes have no problems reading it. Not much else to say, but it didn't arrive in a Singer packaging as shown. It was just inside a plastic bag, in a bag, in a bag, in the Amazon shipping bag. I'm happy with it overall. I can recommend this.
