I bought this for my son. We’ve had matcha before but this is so incredibly fine it makes the best mocha tea!!

Great matcha! We lived in Japan so we have tried many types of matcha. This one is great. I see reviewers complaining about clumpiness. However, in my opinion, this matcha has a fantastic, deep, authentic flavor. A fantastic matcha! We are matcha nerds. From our understanding, clumpiness is often a sign of better matcha without fillers. Look it up, it's true!

This was smaller than I expected for the price (I didn't look at the size closely before buying), but it's much higher quality than the previous brand ceremonial matcha I bought. I found this on a website rating high quality ceremonial matchas and it was recommended there. Compared to the other ceremonial grade matcha I had, this brand is smoother texture (I don't have to get any clumps out when the powder is dry), the color is a darker green, and it seems to have higher caffeine content so I can use a little less. The taste is good too, better than most matcha lattes I buy at coffee shops. I usually do 1 tsp of matcha for a large mug of oat milk matcha with some fancy syrup, but I can do a little less than 1 tsp with this brand.

I’ve never tried to make a matcha latte before & was worried it wouldn’t taste the same as at coffee shops. This powder & the simple instructions made for a very delicious drink!! I will definitely be making these at home now.

I usually sift my matcha powder for an extremely smooth blend but I've been having trouble with this matcha. It feels very dry and clumpy, I end up tossing the bits I can't sift, which seems like a lot considering the price of the highest quality from this brand. It still tastes really good though.I admittedly fell for the branding and hype of this brand but I'm going back to the brands sold at the local Japanese grocery store.

I did not like the Reserve Blend AT ALL! I purchased because the other Matchabar Ceremonial Grade was out of stock. I love that one so figured this would be the same. It is definitely NOT! It's clumpy and doesn't blend well. The caffeine boost from this one is non-existent. I've been doubling up on my pre-workout powder just to maintain my energy level. I will be going back to my usual Matchabar Ceremonial Grade once I use this stuff up.
