My husband has Parkinson's disease and as a result, falls often, hitting his head often. I ordered this helmet having no idea just how marvelous it is. When it came, I could not believe a helmet was in the light as air package. When I opened the package I was delighted with helmet's light weight and the fit (it has adjustable lacing in the back), and the way the padding protects my husband's head by its thoughtful cushioning patterns. The air spaces are important so that his head can stay cool. I could not be more pleased. And, the price was very reasonable. I bought this thinking if it did not work out, I would try one of the pricey ones, but I think this is better than the more expensive helmets. Thank them for a good product at a reasonable cost.

If I were using this for anything other than essentially a recreational senior rugby league, I'd spend the money on something more. Also, if it were my kid playing, I'd get a nicer one. But for my purposes, it was just good enough. It's fairly thin and flimsy, and not a very soft chin strap. It's a bit stiff and scratchy - but again, for the price point, it really was just what I needed to keep a little more of my gray matter.
