It is shiny and pretty...BUT..most chimney inter-pipe connections are such that as you go up, the lower piece goes into the upper piece.Reason being, is that any smoke or "exhaust" is much less likely to escape if the fit isn't perfect. This "T" has the upper connection flanged outward into a larger diameter so it will go outside the next upper piece; this means that if the connection is not perfect, it will leak smoke exhaust. Not sure why... I may call the manufacturer

I installed 3 of these in my wood stove chimney for ease of cleaning. Sure makes it easier to brush out any build up in the stove pipe. Do some research before purchase as there is quite a bit of difference in price from sight to sight.

Less creosote buildup in stack to clean. It is a worthwhile improvement over the black stovepipe I was using.

High quality tee. Comes with cover for bottom.

Used for exhaust out back of stove and easy cleaning.

I liked the T but for the price it should have been inspected by quality control. It came with a missing rivet . I hope for the price it holds without that rivet.
