I spent countless hours online looking for a floor lamp that looks nice, was willing to pay much more more than this to find what I wanted - this lamp is pretty sturdy, but yet is functional and bright and uses regular light bulbs. I even spent $$$ and ordered a Pottery Barn Floor Lamp only to return it as it was cheap crap. Hence this find. It's well-made and stylish. I have two of these lamps, which were actually bought a few years apart. I liked the first one so much, that when the time arose that I needed a new lamp in a second location - I came back for this one.What I like about this lamp:1) Beautiful, STURDY shade that adds interest to the lamp (the shade directs light where you need it while keeping it from also being glaring light)2) The finish goes with a lot of different colors and designs3) The shade and finish both clean easily and aren't dust catchersThe lamp comes in an EXCEPTIONALLY well packaged box! I always worry about purchasing things such as this online and how will they handle shipping. These are packaged for transit and would take a lot to damage them.I encountered no issues in assembling which went fairly quick. All the parts were present and ready to go out of the box.It's a good floor lamp, which is clean, modern, and versatile. This product will stand the test of time and in a style that will work with a lot of different decors.

This is not the most expensive lamp I’ve ever purchased, but it looks nice and will do the job. It’s a bit wobbly, but works for us. Happy to have purchased a good looking lamp for a low price. Easy to assemble and packaged well.

Well-made, attractive floor lamp, reasonably priced. Provides the lighting I need for my office. I bought one of these lamps a year ago, and now I've added a second.

This in my second Franklin Ironworks lamp and I am pleased with it. I have tried several other brands and they are not worth a penny!!! This lamp replaces a lamp from Amazon that was awful from the time I put it together. I recommend this company!

I bought these floor lamps about 2 weeks ago and recently received them. Shipping took longer than expected- I am not sure why? Assembling the lamps was not easy- the first lamp took longer than expected. Unpacking the lamps was difficult- everything was in a big styrofoam block and had to tear it into smaller pieces to get to the lamp. The effort was worth it- once I got the lamps assembled, they looked fabulous! I would definitely recommend these lamps to beautify any room- highly recommended!

There are several things that I like about this lamp. I love that it works with two bulbs and that the shade is very strong. I am disappointed with the base. A plastic base is covered by a very thin brown metal piece. The part of the base that faces the floor was in terrible shape. It was definitely not new. I was also disappointed with the pols, they were very thin and clumsy.
