These are small and hold about 1/3 cup of water. They don't leak and are easy for children to put onto wire cages but they don't hold a lot of water.We use these for fair, specifically 4-h shows. Our 7 year old shows rabbits and chickens, and needed something that would hold food and water but not take up a bunch of space. These fit the bill so I purchased them. They work for chickens, full size and bantams, but they do not work for rabbits of any size. They don't hold enough water. They are cute, easy to clean, and sturdy enough to handle trips to and from fair but I wish they were bigger.

We had bought these for our chickens when we take them to fair. However, right off the bat, three of the hangers/brackets broke from three cups when we tried to hang them. The hangers/brackets are pretty fragile and snap off easily.When we figured out how to get them on without snapping them off, it was pretty simple and easy to clean and change out when needed.Even though they are fragile, I do indeed recommend these. Just be for warned and take it easy with them.

I made a few simple hangers for these & put them inside the chicken coop with oyster shell and limestone in them.The hens can get their calcium and they can be lifted up & cleaned or switched out as needed.
