Must have in every kitchen for all food lovers
For the starters, it does indeed add a heightened flavor to your tea by extracting the maximum flavors from all the herbs and spices -- be it dry or leaf 🌿The size is perfect for a typical Indian family and the product is well designed -- mortar and pestle complement each other seamlessly. It also seems durable. Best part, the color matched my kitchen counter!Go get it without a second thought!

AVOID. Critically flawed finish.
Set aside the fact that they first tried to palm off a repaired mortar (photo attached), but the pestle of both the original damaged piece and the replacement piece was very poorly finished. The top is not rounded enough to give proper grinding. And the bottom is too poorly finished to allow it to free-stannd. Even the depth of the notch is only for show - it is not enough for practical usage. Please refer pictures of the green pestle to understand the flaws. For comparison, I've posted photos of a larger pestle (black) from a competing brand, and our 20 year old locally purchased pestle (white marble). They both have the required roundness, depth of holding notch and base stability. These guys are just doing a bad job. For something that is used so often at home and lasts so long, please consider properly before you buy.
