I don't have a cat. I'm testing out cheap food sources to sustain me after the socialist take over, and food becomes scarce. So far this stuff is on my list.

Okay first off my little angel is getting older and her teeth are not as strong, we recently had a dental surgery performed to remove two of her back teeth. Honestly for price of this cat food it does offer genuine value. My cat enjoys this variety mix, apparently more than other brands because I have tried more expensive organic or all-natural brands and she seems disinterested and will eat a few bites before leaving to do important 'cat things'. I try to add other things for her diet to ensure she is eating well with a mix of both wet and dry cat food. The food itself has chunky bits in a variety of flavors with gelatin or gravy juice inside. The top seal of each cup pulls off quickly and easily. Three different flavors or 8 individual cups of each flavors with each cup measuring roughly 3 inches on the top although the bottom of the cup is slightly shorter in size. The package was well sealed and protected with relative ease for opening the box. The box itself has pleasing colors and Meow Mix is an affordable brand which I would recommend as a low cost pet food option. Um...so I used to buy the really expensive food cus I live alone and I have a really unhealthy dependent relationship with my cats. One day a friend gave me a box of Meow Mix, cus his cat didn't take to it, and I thought, okay, well even though it's probably, like, lips and hooves? It's still wet food and I'll just use it as an occasional treat and I'll see how that goes until the box runs out. My little girl took to it and wouldn't go back to the expensive stuff. Not even wet fancy feast, all she wants is this junk. I've given in, Odie gets Meow Mix, Poopycakes gets wet friskies pate (which is really only a fraction of a step up from THIS taco meat) and peace is maintained in my household.

That cat would burn through 5-7 full-size CANS of Whiskas a DAY (on a related note: teaching our soft-hearted 12 year-old where said cans were kept? Well, albeit... mistakes were made).Then, one day, biscuit, now a year older and substantially-heavier, vanished. We did the sign thing, he was chipped, but either he met something he couldn't scrap with (like a Buick), he fell into a basement and couldn't lug his bulk back out, or possibly he got jarred abruptly and simply detonated, spraying the countryside with Whiskas. Point is, we gave up hope.Three months later, our still-softhearted-but-now-13-year-old chanced across a litter of 6-week-old kittens living beneath the entrance ramp to the hospital within which my wife is employed. I have.And the very first thing Big Biscuit did upon arriving home? Ignoring the other three cats' looks of shocked indignation at this giant intruder (for Biscuit had continued his prodigious expansion during his absence, now tipping scales at 28 lbs, bigger than our other three COMBINED), he marched directly to where we'd fed him all those months prior, pausing only long enough to take a good-natured swipe at our Standard Poodle's nose, and gave his characteristic mwrowl of demand.Anyway, regarding Meow Mix Savory Morsels Wet Cat Food, 2.75 Ounce Cups: this product - or, more-specifically, both its boggling affordability coupled with its empirically-proven acceptability to all four of the gourmand feline food critics that call my house "home" is very likely the only reason MY family and I aren't OURSELVES living under a ramp in front of a hospital. Granted, we go through 24 of these things every 4 days, so your mileage may vary, but if you want a wet food that the little heathens won't gripe about, and that enables you and yours to still afford HUMAN food, you can't do much better.Though, piece of advice? Avoid the fish flavors. No clue why, but it's common knowledge in our household that if fish flavors had been inadvertently purchased and one hears a flushing sound followed by Hitchcock sauntering out of the basement, newspaper tucked beneath his arm, it's going to necessitate a HazMat team to clean out that box.Still can't speak to the quality of the flavor though.
