These sharp needles work well in specific sewing.
Because of the sharpness one is able to sew to the exact spot you want to be at without snowplowing and pushing the top fabric beyond where you want it to end. A regular universal needle still has a ball point end even though it says it isn’t a ball point. The ball point is supposed to work well on knit fabric as you stretch and sew the seams. The sharp needle helps one’s fabric to be pulled back matching the top and bottom fabrics.

Love Schmetz needles.
Love this brand! Very sharp, and pierces through fabric easily with no drag even on multiple layers of fabric. These needles are strong and precision made. Ive been sewing for over 70 years and I will only use Schmetz. I learned this the hard way by trying other brands. Schmetz is the best and well worth the price.

Great Needles from a Great Company!
Absolutely Love Schmetz needles! I have used these needles for many years and on many projects. They work as advertised and the packaging is perfect. Also shipping was super fast! And I just took a class to make this needle holder.

These needles will hopefully make me a better quilter
Nice multi pack of a type of needle that was recommended for my quilting projects. I'm not well versed in different types of needles but was using a 60+ yr old machine at the time with a needle that came installed in the machine when I purchased it 20 someodd years ago. It had worked fine for the project but I figured it wouldn't hurt to update and modernize what I could on my machine which is a class 15 clone. These needles fit it fine and although I honestly don't see any difference in how they stitch my fabric, I'm going to choose to believe I didn't waste money buying them and my projects will benefit from having bought them.
