Bought this along with the live caterpillars and it was a good idea, kept the butterflies safe in one place. Highly recommend it if you buy the caterpillars, best habitat for them

We used this to hatch? some butterflies at home! My kids loved it. This one is pretty small though. I might get a bigger one if we decide to do it again but it was so fun! Insect lore shipped it really fast and it came in the same package as my caterpillars. The top doesn’t open all the way so if you have larger hands, it may be hard to feed them.

I feel like I always lose my nets when I get caterpillars in the spring. This one was small but it got the job done. It could hold 2 cups of caterpillars. Easy to open and clean.

Super great for insect loving kiddos.
Absolutely love this product! We have purchased this butterfly/ insect cage in two different sizes for our kiddos and it’s so easy to use. Our 4 year old loves to fill his with grass hoppers. Zipper is easy for toddlers to use. It’s durable netting not easy to tear. Great price for the kiddos to be dragging around in the dirt. Wipes cleaning with damp rag.

Best bug container ever!
I am a 65 yr. old "kid" who has always loved catching Lightning Bugs in the summer. I wish I had this bug container when I was a child! We had to poke holes in the top of a mayo jar & the bugs sometimes escaped through a hole. I have caught Lightning Bugs 5 times so far this summer. I LOVE this container & I'm sure the bugs appreciate not being in a hot jar. LOL! It is easy to zip & unzip. I always let my catches go before I go to bed. Thank you for this great product as I am enjoying it immensely!

Cute set - missing parts.
Cute set for children’s homeschool lessons- learning about life cycles , however it was missing the flower feeder piece . Very disappointing

Great for kids!
I bought this for my grandkids. I thought it would be a great learning experience, seeing how the caterpillars became chrysalids and then butterflies. HUGE HIT!!!! The kids absolutely loved it and checked every day to see if they had butterflies yet. Once the butterflies hatched, we gave them a few days and then released them into our greenhouse. The kids still go out every day to see their butterflies. I would recommend this for any children who are interested in science, bugs, butterflies, or just for a unique and personal learning experience. It would also be great for teachers in their classrooms.
