You can see from the photo that this drive is genuine and it gets fast speeds. 2131 MB/s write speed and 784 MB/s read speed. Just make sure you're comfortable with the M2230 form factor for your computer. Otherwise, this is a great drive and a great deal.

I want to expand the internal storage of my steam deck but not spend too much money. I find 128GB to be the sweet spot as the steam deck has an expandable storage which I didn't have any issues with. The 64 GB just seemed too small and I wanted to have a bit more internal storage so I got this. As of this writing, I had no issues with it and it has been used for more than 3 months now. I'd say go for it if you want that little bump in storage.

The seller shipped quickly. I installed this SSD on my orange Pi 5 easily and it has been working fine so far. I think this SSD has provided great value for its price.

Perfect budget NVMe, just keep in mind that it's intended for use in prebuilt mobile devices and your motherboard might not directly support it.

I use this to make my own CF Express card for my Canon R5 for a fraction of the cost of cards from major memory card manufacturers. Excellent performance on par with other manufacturers.

I have tried to install this into several computers, including a laptop with a dedicated NVMe slot, and the BIOS is never able to detect it. Or when it goes, it still never sees this drive has a bootable device despite trying many things and scouring tons of forums. I have updated my BIOS, downgraded my BIOS, turned off secure boot (and other equivalents in other systems) but nothing works. Whats weird is the when installing an OS from a USB, it detects the drive fine, but the BIOS just will not detect it or see it as a viable boot device. I bought two of these and both do the same thing. They are cheap garbage.

This is a legit quality NVMe drive made by Toshiba. These are OEM pulls from unknown devices. These drives are not sold retail but only to OEMs. But at this price, who cares if these are pulls or otherwise sold through a different channel? If you're considering this drive for a Steam Deck it will work, and is a significant upgrade over the base model 64GB eMMC factory drive, but beware 128GB is still on the small side. With some of the bigger titles you'll be unable to get even 1 or 2 games on this drive. The Steam Deck essentially has two copies of Steam OS. One for gaming and one for desktop mode. Out of the box there's about 14 GB total storage used. And this drive has 114 GB of net capacity, minus 14 GB for the OS, leaves around 100 GB for games and other storage. So check the Steam store to see how much space your games need and decide what you want to store on the SSD versus an SD card. The good news is, capacity aside, any NVMe SSD will last longer and offer higher performance than a eMMC drive (which is basically just an SD card).

I popped this in because I accidentally typed in CLEAN in diskpart on my other disk (which I've done on Intel machines and never had a problem getting back in). The Surface Pro X apparently doesn't have this tolerance... and it just refused to boot... either that or the disk is toast on this machine. This was really cheap so I figured before I spend more money, let me try to reinstall with this blank already initialized disk for $14.... and wouldn't you know... it just worked right away and it's finally reinstalling the OS from the boot disk I made. So for $14, it's going to serve as a backup image of my Surface Pro X in a pinch along with having an image on my NAS as a backup to the cloud. It's easier to clone off an installed boot disk than to get it on the disk apparently, so hopefully this works out. I am happy because my SP X is back among the living.

Direct install for orange pi 5. Runs the android os much faster than SD card. WARNING You will need a nut and bolt or ssd screw to hold down the ssd, which is not included.
