A Collector’s Guide to Royal Copenhagen Porcelain (Schiffer Book for Collectors)

I ordered this book because of the fact it dealt with figurines. There are a lot of Royal Copenhagen figurine pictures with only a small amount of information, but pretty comprehensive on backstamps used and dates of figurines. Also discusses several of the more famous artists that work on these items. I found it quite interesting and a must have if you are an ardent collector.

Love this book. Helps me with my collection. I wish I bought it sooner.

Well written book with good illustrations, historical data, figurine date as well as all Royal Copenhagen porcelain. Very useful for the collector or appraiser.

It was disappointing not to find a piece of dinnerware. That information was what I was looking for. Strange it was totally ignored. No info available.

This book is really only about figurines, with a little history of the company markings. It does not cover any dishes or accent pieces for the china collector. The product description may lead you to think it covers it all, but it doesn't.

Brilliant, not all are photographed, but all are numerically listed. The only book o could find on Royal Copenhagen. Extremely happy.

以前からロイヤルコペンのフギュリンに興味があっったんですが、自分が持っているロビンの置物にかんして詳しくわかったのもうれしかったんですが、これだけまとまってロイヤルコペンのフギュリンが見られるのも魅力です。時々写真の精度が極端に悪いものも載っていますが、それだけ貴重なものなのかな〜？とも思ったりし見ていて飽きません。

For a serious Royal Copenhagen collector this book is invaluable

I expexted the Book to include some information about the dinnerwares also (flora danica, musselmalet and so on), but the Book did tell only about the figurines.
