I bought this 2 weeks ago and applied it as soon as it arrived. The smell is strong but pleasant, and doesn't seem to bother him. It applies super easy, you can use the stick right on the nose or rub some on a finger, as the formula is very soft. Definitely distract your dog while applying!! LOL, mine tried to lick/wipe it off. I applied it 2-3 times daily as directed. If your dog doesn't lick it off like mine does most of the time, it soaks into their snout and lasts quite long throughout the day. This 100% works as intended! Within the first few days I noticed the dry scaly patches on his nose getting smaller and smaller. Some of them even came off on my finger as I rubbed the balm in! Two weeks later & his nose is back to normal.
