The headset mike is comfortable even for doing a lot of jumping and running from one side of the pool to the other. The headset battery lasts 2-3 months. **Q: Would it satisfy a professional singer?** A: The unit that we purchased is being used in a large fellowship hall for a Line Dancing group. You can hear the dance commands over the music BUT we are using the head type mic and we get some static/noise through the speaker. Not all the time but sometimes more than other times.
