They're wires, they work, not much more to say
Given a trip to the Depot woulda costed more in gas and effort than ordering them here I opted for the sensible route. The item worked as expected, providing a much needed connection for my video doorbell

Great thermostat wire.
Good wire for my new thermostat and relays. I installed it about 2 months ago and it is still working great.

Couldn't find any of this wire locally
Hunted far and wide to find some of this wire to buy - but apparently now that most HVAC systems use smart wireless thermostats the hardware stores don't carry it anymore. One building supply place I tried - the employees didn't even know what I was asking for - and when I compared it to telephone wire, they didn't know what that was either. Sigh - I must be old.I was doing some work on my compressor unit outside, and wanted to run new wire between it and the unit inside. This wire was perfect for doing that and the length was more than enough to get from point A to point B. Was expecting to pay more than this - so the cost was just right. Haven't had any problems, so I'm happy with my purchse.

As described, but the image is misleading.
The product is as described, but the image could be considered misleading. It shows the product packaged in what looks like a decent-sized, loosely wound roll, but in reality, it is packaged tightly around a very small spool. This is solid wire, and because I dislike dealing with wire that just won't stay straight, the roll packaging appealed to me. Sure it can be straightened by hand, but that's 50 feet of tedious work I didn't plan to do when I bought the product.

Just as expected
Needed to move my thermostat about 15 feet. This is exactly what I needed to do a new homerun from the hvac equipment to the wall 15 feet from where it was originally.

Arrived in good condition
I ended up not needing this, but it does arrive on a tiny spool. Looked to be of high quality, same as what the installer used.

50' of quality thermostat cable on a handy spool
I used this to replace an ancient two-wire thermostat "cable" that was left in place after our old furnace and thermostat were upgraded. With the additional conductors, the thermostat now has a functioning "Fan" button, and it's also powered by the furnace, eliminating the need for batteries. My local hardware store sells comparable 18/3 cable for 49 cents a foot, so this 18/5 is quite reasonably priced. The cable's outer jacket isn't as tight as it appears in the illustration, and was easy to strip. There's actually a nylon fiber "ripcord" inside, much like you find in Ethernet cables. The individual conductor insulation is thin (I can actually strip it with my thumbnail), but still adequate. The conductors don't seem brittle at all; they're nice solid copper.
