This wire stripper works as intended, beautifully stripping the wire easily. The tool is made well and is able to handle a wide range of wire sizes. The price is very reasonable so you might as well grab one of these if you are still using scissors or ineffective old style tools. The only improvement I can suggest is using better/stronger clear plastic material for the blister pack so it doesn't crack, break, and lose the tool during shipping. Luckily, Amazon is excellent at remedying situations even when the first tool was a no-show (seemingly lost in transit). When the replacement arrived, the blister pack was cracked all over the place barely hanging on, indicating how the first tool ended up lost.

This is my first set of this type of wire stripper. Love it. Works on 6AWG and lower. However, when trying to crimp a 6AWG terminal, the terminal twisted the handles and now they sit slightly out of line. (I bought a crimper...) As for stripping, they work perfectly. The feel like they are of just "ok" build quality. They'll work for this DIY'er, but probably not robust enough for full time use. I might have felt different had the handles not bent, but that's the reason for knocking one star off. However, for the money, better than expected.

This strips as little as 5mm and works fine on 24ga silicone sheathed wire that I use for making dupont cables for various esp32 projects. It is clumsy tho with wire that small and I actually prefer to use my ancient IDEAL brand simple stripper with a diy depth stop attached because it’s much quicker. Many companies make similar (identical) strippers and they all have a hole in each jaw ostensibly for bending wire but I use them to attach multiple bits of sheet plastic that can be rotated into place behind the cutter to serve as a depth gauge for different depths - right now only 3mm and 5mm are useful to me. The depth stop on these is a little delicate, it gets banged around in my tool bag and I expect it’s going to get broken soon but the jaws and stripping blade seem very solid and I very much prefer this design where all the wires go through the same place. I have other strippers with multiple holes for different wires and lining them up is harder - this adjusts automatically. Great price besides.

Stripper works extremely easy and fast. This is probably the best wire stripper I have ever had. The price is also very good, for this style of wire stripper.

Works great

A great tool that does what it's supposed to and doesn't cost arms or legs.

It does the main feature well enough, stripping wires. To strip cleanly use them quickly. A slow use will cause tearing. The Wire guide was surprisingly useful. My biggest gripe was that the reason I bought them for was useless. The insulated crimper is junk. The edges are too sharp and cut right through the waterproof insulation of the 10 guage butt splicers, so two stars docked for that. I'm sure I can use my dremmel to smooth those out, but I'll probably return it. I shouldn't have to modify a tool so it can perform its intended function.

Very useful product. I am using it and very much satisfied with its purpose. I use it for fixing things at home and for my DIY projects. I would recommend every one who does any work with wires and electrical to have it.
