I have a another electric razor that likes to pull and hurt a bit. This razor works well, battery lasts long time between charges. Overall a great value.

My husband loves this shaver. It's the first shaver that's been comfortable for him. The price was great, and the quality feels a lot better than you would expect. 10/10 would buy again.

Purchased this shaver to replace a Norelco 2000 that lasted only 15 months before the latch broke. Each of my Norelcos has had a shorter life than the one before, so what’s to loose by trying another brand?It’s a little smaller and more tapered than the N-2000; but it fits my medium-sized hand comfortably. The shiny finish looks like it would be slippery, but it grips just fine.I taped the head closed on the broken Norelco and shaved half my face with it and the other half with the new Elehot: no difference in comfort or closeness (medium whiskers). The Norelco may have glided a little easier over the skin.The battery state-of-charge gauge is a big plus: no guessing if I need to charge before a two-day trip. Another reviewer complained that this can’t be accurate to the nearest 1%, as the display implies. I don’t see that as a problem; I just consider it an approximate indication, and I plan to charge well before reaching single-digit percentages.One gripe: the description on the Amazon page shows washing it under running water, but the instruction sheet says nothing about that, in fact the only cleaning instructions involve disassembly, and later under “Cautions” is an admonition to “Please keep the product and the adapter dry.” I’m brushing then washing it daily, so I’ll be watching for any related problems.I hope it lasts longer than my latest Norelco, but if it only goes 15 months it’ll still be a bargain.**2 1/2 MONTH UPDATEIn very dry weather or in very dry hands, the grip can be a bit slippery, but switching grip higher toward the shaving head still gives adequate grip.Charges in less than 1 1/2 hours, shaves for a month on a charge, with about 20% charge remaining. Remaining charge is displayed as a percentage when turning on and off, and continuously during charging.I've been washing it out daily and have seen no problems as a result (see gripe above about discrepancy between product description and instructions on washing).The price is up 25% in 2 1/2 months! Would buy again, but not if price keeps going up at this rate!

It says it is wet or dry. I have only tried dry. Doesn't shave quite as close as my previous Norelco, which is what I thought I was buying because I wasn't paying enough attention. Not significantly different enough to replace it.

Great electric shaver, good price, confusing manual I wear a beard, but shave my neck 1 to 3 times most weeks depending on activity. This razor arrived charged and ready to use, and so I have used it once right out of the box. I was amazed at how comfortable and close the shave felt. The result was nearly as smooth as when I use a blade. More concerning was the manual which makes cleaning the device sound like an ordeal. And the manual says to keep it dry, which is in conflict with the online advertising that it is water proof. And I read at least one review that talked about somebody using water in the simple cleaning process. I guess I have yet to find out what the truth of the matter is. But I liked the shave! And the price!
