This was an affordable option for a product that may mostly be used for his limited attention span.I was surprised of the sharpness and apparent quality, considering the price point that I purchased it at. I'm sure it's going to be very helpful for many other cooking adventures. I can't speak to longevity of the product since I've only used about five times, but I've kept the protective silicone corner protectors on it after each use and return it to it's envelope so that the edge won't get boogered up.
