This is number 45 of 60! Don't stop writing. Ever. Review: Great read! - This was a totally engrossing tale. I couldn't put it down. From start to finish with twists and turns the author totally involves the reader.

Sherlock Holmes Mystery
7/22/1903, 221B Baker St. Pope Leo XIII (Vincenzo Gioacchino Raffaele Luigi Pecci) had died. Mrs. Martha Louise Hudson (housekeeper/landlady, wife, nรฉe Sissons, Hillwood College) introduced Lady Frances Carfax (Rufton Manor Sevenoaks, Kent) to Mr. William โSherlockโ Scott Holmes (Scotland Yard consulting detective) & Dr. John Hamish Watson (husband, Sherlock's BMF, MD, author/writer). She had sold her valuable Spanish jewelry, & now devotes her time/resources to support charities that bring relief to the poor, & particularly Dr. Bernardoโs homes for orphans. Cordelia de Moreau (Cordelia de Moreau) had falling head over heels for Frances Carfax (French, waiter) & gotten pregnant. 11/22/1882, Dr. Theodora Kocher had delivered a baby girl who was named Alice Carfax. Lady Frances handed a letter she just received to Mr. Holmes & Dr. Watson. Lady Frances you must transfer ยฃ10,000 to account # 60628 of the OberBank, 23 Obernring 1032 or else. H.M. Mr. Holmes & James Boswell (9th Laird of Auchinleck, lawyer, diarist, author) went to pay Mr. Henry Peters a visit. 7/23/1903, Mr. Holmes & Dr. Watson had agreed to go to Europe to rescue a young woman who was once a kidnapped child. Now someone had shot at the 2 of them. 7/25/1903, Now the kidnapper wants ยฃ20,000. There were more threats/demands. Mrs. Buckner (translator) was being an immense help to Mrs. Buckner translator investigation. The kidnapper had sent a final note to the 3 of them. 8/1/1903, The investigation was winding down. I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one. An awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very professionally written Sherlock Holmes Mystery book. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a huge description list of unique characters, settings, facts etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great Sherlock Holmes Mystery movie, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars. Interesting twists in the story
Sherlock and Watson do it again. But this time there were surprising twists to the story. About the time I thought I had it figured out it changed. Really enjoyed this one. And I have read all of The books in the series.

Many historical errors
The author really must do better research. He has an end note of how accurate the book is. In fact the errors start almost with the first page A couple First a 1903 Springfield is not a single shot rifle. It was a typical Mauser clone with a five round internal magazine. Six if you used the mag cutoff and also loaded one in the chamber. Sidney Reilly (ace of spies) was probably the first modern intelligence agent. See the BBC Sam Neil series for their take on him. Or read Bruce Lockharts book for a more accurate description. He mostly was an agent for the British. Without question he was a very dangerous guy. But he was a master spy. Not a kidnapper and murderer uninvolved women and children He was the basis of Flemmings James Bond. Copeland makes such a point of how accurate book is. Sadly not the case here and not up with his better Holmes stories.
