The LS2 Explorer brings state of the art technology, offering our high quality, High Performance Fiberglass Composite shell. Offering a plush, technical fabric interior with 3D laser cut cheek pads for high mileage comfort. Ultra-wide eye port with optically correct Class A polycarbonate shield. The Explorer includes LS2’s popular drop-down sunshield. The peak is designed with large ports for maximum air flow and comes in handy when you are riding into the sun at the end of a long day. Dynamic flow through ventilation is ported through the technically advanced EPS. Ventilation is fully adjustable to help you maintain control over the elements. DOT approved. It's no louder than my other helmets, it is slightly bigger, but I'd rather have the extra protection in the event of a accident. I like the sliding shade, though I wish it went slightly lower. Pros: shield locks tight no air leak and comes with pin lock fog shield. if you get the right size it fits snug on the hole head and cheaks. Mean looking, very cool HALO style and good vents. Cons: shield is ether open all the way or closed. Sun shield would be nice if it came down a little further, but it's fine as is. was tough to position and fit speakers in it. To Fit the speakers: you need to get them in the right spot first so sound is right on the ear hole. then press the speakers on the edges to leave an imprint. Then remove the speakers and use a heavy socket to press the shape into the foam as far as you can then put the speakers back in the holes you made.
