Authentic stories
Jo writes these 10 real life stories with lots of detail and authenticity. They give great examples of the church coming together to be the body of Christ to suffering individuals and families. If you need to seek God for his presence and help in time of need then this is a good resource, as well as reading God's book the Bible!

Intimate exploration of powerful prayer and Gods interventions
This is a book on miracles, but moreover is a book on power of prayer and determined Christian faith, even when the 'prayed for' miracle does not happen. This is a book of inspiring stories, but moreover is a book of personal testimony, as Joanna draws from the life-experiences of herself and those close to her. This is a Christian book, but moreover is a book about the highest highs and lowest lows of life, with the presence of God penetrating through the cracks of both.Recommended

A life-changing read
This is a beautifully written, compelling read. ‘Light Through the Cracks’ will inspire you to re-energise your prayer life in the indisputable knowledge that miracles do still happen today. Writing out of her own personal experience, and that of people known to her, Joanna Watson cracks open the myth that miracles are a thing of the past. I guarantee this book will deepen your desire to pray and may just change your life, and that of those around you.

But this book and share it.
Do you believe in miracles? If you are not sure, read this book. It is a vivid testimony to the grace of God acting today in the lives of ordinary people who trust him. Not every prayer is answered as we might wish, and not every story ends with a happy ending, but in each of the ten stories told in this book, the love of God shines through and miracles happen. How many churches have had their ministry funded by finding £100,001 in bank notes in a bin liner on the vicarage doorstep? And suppose someone told you that he had a dream about such a gift of £100,000 before the money had been counted. Those were just two of the unlikely coincidences in this story. This and the remaining 9 stories, of which I won't spoil the plot, will build your faith in a God of miracles. Buy this book and share it. In the introduction, Joanna says "I have many more stories than you will read here, this is just the beginning". Roll on book two!

Wonderfully written and really encouraging
This is a beautifully written book that is an easy to read compilations of true life stories where God has broken into the situation in miraculous ways. Really recommend it to anyone looking for encouragement, glimpses of an extraordinary God in the ordinary of our lives. Found it profoundly comforting that God is with us in our journey with the stories in the book aligning to my own experiences in my life where there have been ‘God Co-incidences’.
