I ordered this in the S/M and it's perfect! I am a 6 ft man and it fits perfectly! I had some doubts as the picture looked very "costumy" and not movie accurate. However when it came I couldn't have been more pleased as it is made very well and it is just like Newt's vest in the movie! It is slightly darker in real life (which is a good thing) and it has a felt-ish feel to the fabric, but not cheap looking. A downside is that the pockets are not real and are just there for decoration but its not that big a deal to me. All in all this is a perfect vest for your Newt Scamander cosplay and I highly recommend it to anyone.

A bit larger than I expected and difficult to adjust it to be small enough to fit me in a way that isn't awkward. Note that the fabric is more fuzzy/felt than it is a stiffer material. Pockets are NOT functional, just decoration, so a pocket watch will not be possible with this vest. Otherwise, it is a comfortable vest and relatively warm. Looks very nice with the coat overtop of it.

This has ended up being perfect for my cosplay. When ordering, make sure you follow the chart size or you could end up with the wrong size. I am a 6' and 153lb women with a decent size chest area. The large fits rather big, but if I had gotten the small I could see it being too short. (A friend bought the small and I tried it on and it was too short for me. We both got the same vest from the same company, but different sizes.) Luckily I have a friend that is going to alter the large to fit me a tad bit better. I will add this, wearing this will burn you alive in Florida's spring weather. x.x

I don't like the fabric. I don't like the back with the ribbon adjustment. It would fit fine if the material wasn't a weird fleece. Also, they were not really pockets. I had to cut it and sew my own. Not worth the price. I got this for a cosplay. I can't use it without looking odd. It arrived with a hanger and protective sheet.My fault I guess for not reading the description right or looking at the picture right.

I’m 5’7”, 140 lbs (M) and the S/M is a bit large on me. The ribbon on the back doesn’t do a great job of tightening the fit, like a traditional suit vest would. Nevertheless, it’s not as terrible as I was expecting. With a little tweaking via temporary stitches or safety pins, I’m sure I’ll make it work. It’s definitely more of a tan color rather than yellow, though.

As many have said, this vest is incredibly short. I am 5' 10" and it just about meets my belly button (I ordered the L/XL to hopefully prevent that issue, but alas).Despite its short length, it is a rather well made replica vest and fits nicely otherwise. I'm incredibly disappointed that I likely won't wear it often with my Newt cosplay since it looks so ridiculously small on my longer frame.If you are 5' 6" or under, this vest is surely a great item for you. But otherwise, expect it to be far too short, and perhaps consider other options.

Purchased as a costume piece for LeFou in Beauty and The Beast musical. Very well made and can be adjusted. It's big on my daughter, but it needs to be somewhat loose to hide the fact that she's a female, but also to make room while she's dancing. It's perfect for our needs.

It's men's sizing I had to tweak it to fit my frame, and it worked perfectly.
