Review: Great for kitty's with sensitive tummys. - My vet had me buying a super expensive brand of hydrogenated food claiming it was all my cat could tolerate. Well it smelled horrible, had super big pieces and my cat ate just enough to survive. I weaned her off her current food and eased her into this one and she has been doing great. No more skin issues and the smaller pieces mean she doesn't up chuk all the time. I have to guess it tastes good because she keeps on eating it and I have the exact same food for my dog and he loves it. Canidae is also a bit pricey but it is worth it for the quality ingredients.
Review: Winner! - I have A LOT of cats. Seriously I run a small cat shelter in my home by default. I’m always trying to find an affordable cat food that’s still healthy, edible, nutritious, I flat refuse to feed carnivores food that doesn’t have meat as the 1st ingredient. I used to find this on sale at PetSmart sometimes & would get so excited, knowing it was a step up from their usual food. Once I found it on desertcart, this has become the regular food. I get a bag of the chicken & a bag of the tuna (for chubby cats), mix them together and haven’t had a single cat turn their nose up. Literally I’m talking about a dozen cats so I’d say if you haven’t yet, give it a try! If yours won’t eat it, I’m sure you can find some strays or a shelter to donate it to & move on to another flavor. The tuna smells pretty stout so that might encourage pickier eaters. I prefer not to feed only tuna because I don’t want to encourage snobby eating habits if I can help it. Good luck!

**Q: Are ingredients from the usa (and not china...)? i assume it's made in the usa but want to make sure the ingredients are from here too. thanks**
A: Pet food is processed EVERYWHERE unless the manufacturer says it's not, like in raw diets. The thing with China is that their version of 'processed' isn't controlled and differs from ours. As a matter of fact, their version of 'food' is often an entirely abstract and corrupt version of ours (though these days, ours a bit abstract too). 
Let me explain (and this is only an explanation in MY mind's eye. It's not a verified truth!). If ours says there is salmon in the food, you can be pretty sure there is indeed salmon in the food. In China, the "salmon" might be something from salt or fresh water, okay, but that's where we divide and take two different routes. Their salmon might be a river- or ocean-going critter, ie., alive (maybe), taking in oxygen in some way (maybe), it may even be capable of swimming or moving (maybe), but it may not actually BE salmon. It could be skate or ray fish, or eels maybe, or jellyfish, or hag fish (if they can get their slimy hands on their slimy bodies (pun intended--have you ever SEEN a hag fish! YUCK!!!). Most of the recalls in the petfood industry in recent years were due to funky ingredients or processing in China, not in the US. Look it up. You'll see. Hope that clarifies a little (when it comes to hag fish I hope it's not too clear--Look THAT up and you'll see there too!). Have good day!

A: No. This is a great food.

**Q: Why is there so much meal? What percentage is meat and what percentage is bone?**
A: I can't really answer your question, but I wanted to reply just to state that my cats preferred other brands of dry food.

**Q: Is this a low carb?**
A: Since it has potatoes I think it is not carb free but it is the cat food with the main ingredients that are meat.  My cats are thriving on it.
