When I order it , can I ask for a 1/2inch water supply lines?

Highly unlikely. Your supply line under the sink should accommodate the 3/8 supply that comes with it. It may come out of the wall 1/2 inch but the supply valve reduces it to 3/8

Handle - the unit installed easily and looks great. How do I get the handle to srew into the base? I can't get it to thread into the base?

Mine came assembled. I took apart the handle so you can see it. Its all threaded. I will say there is a threaded male "coupler " that threads into the handle and into the base. That coupler should be threaded into the handle about half way

can the ceramic cartridge be replaced and is it readily available?

I would think it should be but I don’t know for sure. Your best bet would be to contact the seller and see if they can help. I had a faucet I bought in Feb. and the sprayer head broke off the hose. Turned out it was a small plastic fitting. But I wasn’t able to find a replacement. I reached out to the seller but they didn’t have any parts for the faucets. They ended up sending me a complete new faucet. So I would try the seller. Hope this helped.

A Very beautiful, heavy, well made single handle sink faucet, *BUT* the plumber said it could not be installed in my new bathroom pedestal sink. It would not fit, according to the plumber. It is beautiful, but make sure it will fit or can be installed in your sink. It was not functional for my sink.
