Very small, still cute
I received 60 dinosaur eggs as pictured. They are small like quail eggs. Since there are 60 they would work good for large parties or a class experiment. They only take a few hours to start hatching, but after the egg is off if you leave the dinosaur in the water for a day or two it gets bigger. Inside is one of those squishy grow toys, if you take it out of the water it will shrink again. You can also regrow the toy later. Another trick I used is growing them in a ziplock bag of water, so I didn't have glasses of water around to spill. At first I wasn't satisfied because the sellers pictures weren't very size accurate, but they updated them to better show the size. My kids enjoyed hatching them because there are different colors are styles if dinosaurs inside. They would work good for Easter baskets too.

Unimpressed
There is a novelty about these, as the kids were excited about them at first— but they are SUPER tiny and the “dinosaurs” look like weird little pink blobs. Definitely not the kind of thing you can play with after it “hatches.”Also, they appear to be the same size as edible candy, so be warned! We had littles trying to put them in their mouth.Overall, a pretty disappointing product, but you do get a ton for a low price.

Teeny tiny
Much smaller than I imagined. Very tiny. Cute but not good for an egg hunt.

Death trap choking hazard for children
Please don't order these! The eggs are about the size of an olive and they expand in water. They are just the size of a child's wind pipe. I went ahead and kept them but I put them in water and let the 'dinosaurs hatch' rather than risk the grandkids getting choked. They look very similar to chocalate Robin egg candy and I would never trust that they would not be mistaken for Easter candy and be swallowed by a small child. Just too dangerousNot recommended! I will give the dinos to the grands now that the egg is dissolved but Just wanted to make others aware of the potential risk.
