Behold, Jesus Is Coming!: Revelation (The New Inductive Study Series)

Outstanding study books.
Revelation is the fifth inductive Bible study book that I’ve done. I absolutely love these books. We do a women’s Bible study and have a range of mature Christians of 45 years to new Christians. All maturity levels have benefited from these books. Kay Arthur encourages each individual to read the word of God and listen to what scripture says to them individually. She doesn’t add commentary. She challenges you to let scripture speak for itself. If you’re wanting to dive into the word of God, and study it in depth, the inductive studies are wonderful! The work can become quite intense. She provides loads of work and suggestions for thought. Which, I feel, allows each individual to do as much or as little study as they want or can do. We have found in a group study, that we have very thought-provoking discussions. Which is a good thing.

Want to understand the Revelation yet to come...
This is an excellent guide. Though at times you may find the instructions tedious, the outcome, the understanding you will gain from actually doing it; re-reading as often as suggested, perhaps even more, is well worth the time and effort invested. This study helps you; and helps you to help others prepare for the Second Coming of Christ, and for the Great White Throne Judgment, to know the difference and live the difference. It teaches the urgency of our times and our calling. Do not delay! Read this book. It is urgent! It is imperative that each of us shares the Word for everyone. Your responsibility will be accomplished, the choice will be theirs.

So basic, it was not worth the purchase
It pains me to leave anything less than 5 stars for anything Kay Arthur has written. I am a huge Kay Arthur fan! The only reason I do so is to save someone else from heading the wrong direction in purchasing this. My discipleship group has completed many of the books in the New Inductive Series together and have really enjoyed the content. Excellent series, and an inexpensive book to purchase. But they all follow the same basic 13 week format. Which is great for a book like John or Matthew... but not for a book like Revelation. You simply cannot cram the amount of content Revelation requires into this same format. I am sure Kay absolutely hated producing this book for that very reason. It was disappointing to find the book offers little more than the same cues towards inductive study of Revelation that her other books do, along with some fill in blank charts. But little to no explanation, or cross referencing that we have grown to expect from her in other studies. Save yourself or your group the purchase and look in another direction for deeper content and more guidance.

Great for Beginners
This is the perfect bible study for those who really want to dive in to the bible but are clueless on how to actually do that! It goes deep and asks you the exact questions you need to really understand God's word and has you highlight and look for specific words/themes throughout the book you are studying!

Behold, Jesus Is Coming!
I am working through this Bible Study to get a head start on a 2 hear study of Revelation that I plan on starting in January. I have only done the first 3 chapters so far, but I have learned so much. It is very thorough and the inductive method of study uses scripture to prove scripture. When I finish this book I plan on sharing it with someone else. Anyone that takes on the challenge of studying Revelation will find this book very helpful.
