Q: what size board does it fit

It was supposed to fit a 42" long, 14" wide over the door ironing board....It was at least an inch too short. I think most over the door ironing boards are 42" long, so I do not think this cover would fit ANY of them.

Q: What size is the cover?

I have an over the door ironing board for several years but this cover did not fit. To hold the cover in place there is a Velcro band and it was not long enough to go around the board. The cover did fit but because of the band the cover would not stay on. Sorry

Q: Why can't someone just give the actual dimensions here? My board is 42" X 14" and I'm NOT looking for an opinion on noise level!

The board itself is 42" x 14". The bracket that actually hangs on the door is 48" x 16". There are two (2) over the door hangers that come with it for 2 thickness sizes of door. Hope this helps.

Q: How are you supposed to fasten this cover to the board????

It had Velcro straps. The size runs very small. I couldn't get it to work.
