ZAGG Gear4 Crystal Palace Snap Case for Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max - Crystal Clear Impact Protection with MagSafe Compatibility - Clear

After trying several other cases to keep my iPhone safe, I happened upon this one. Very glad I tried it out. Feels durable, easy to hold and I like the black/orange color patterns.

I like that I can show off my beautiful i-phone color while keeping it protected, with this ergonomic and durable clear case. This is the second one I have purchased after a number of years, because I noticed the edges were yellowed on the first one, and wanted a refresh. I can attest to it's functionality because I have dropped my phone on numerous occasions, sometimes quite violently because I made the situation worse by trying to "catch" the phone - causing it to accelerate it's downward velocity - uggh! Happily, there was never damage to the phone, and only minor scratches to the back of the case. I find the ribbing along the sides of the case to be very helpful to make the phone more easy to grip (compared to another case I tried which had no ribbing). And the "bumper" along the front edge of the case protected the phone's face every time. The case is slim, so you can put your phone in your back pocket and also remove it with ease. This is a great case, for a reasonable price.

I would have given ZAGG 5 stars overall, but the shallow wall/protector around the camera lenses need to be raised just a little bit to allow you to use camera lens protectors- they protrude just a hair past the "fence" that is supposed to guard the lenses. The other case I removed from this phone had a taller "fence" around this area, whereas this one is pretty low. I just installed a Tauri lens protector, and they are just proud of the fence height. Not good.I'm also a previous ZAGG use with my prior iPhone8+. It's a great case, very protective and shock absorptive, handles well, just like this one does. Sadly, I may look at other case options that will guard the lenses with their protectors a bit better. Now, if you have no intention of using lens protectors, you should be ok although I'd still like to see a bit more height on the lens surround. It's really pretty low. Edit 9/28/23- because of that aforementioned low raised ridge around the lenses, my lens protectors are not properly shielded, and as a result when I put my cellphone ona tabletop, the lens protector lifts away from the lens on one side. Also happens when my cellphone is in my pocket. Sadly, I already threw out the packaging so I can’t return it. I love these cases but this is useless to me.

Love the case so far. Fits good & provides protection

This case fits my phone perfectly. It’s very snug & hard to take your phone out so not a good case if you plan on taking your case off often. I’m clumsy & drop my phone more than I’d like to admit so I require a well made case that can really protect my phone. I’ve had this one a little over a month & so far it’s doing a great job. Feels nice in my hand, lightweight, excellent quality & overall a great case. No issues with my popsocket MagSafe grip, it stays on securely.

Zagg is a top-quality brand that has nice, clean design. The iPhone cover fits snuggly around the phone and has two layers of protection. The case is slightly beveled which gives the camera lens a deep enough pocket to protect the lens when the phone is placed down. The front is also beveled to protect the front screen. The cover is light and thin but is protected. The back has grooves nicely designed in the back which helps with the secure grip. I appreciate that this cover is not slippery. I totally recommend it!

Good quality and fit well. This is my 2nd gear4. I can tell the material better than the most expensive famous brand (not mention name) in the market. Money well spent !
