Great chair and can be modified!!
This was the only chair of this design, with the option for height adjustment. I read other reviews stating it was too low as a desk chair. I saw similar chairs had been modified with a rolling base and higher cylinder tube, since the mechanism to adjust height wasn’t on their chair base, they weren’t adjustable. So I ordered this one, along with a 25” heavy duty rolling base (I suggest a little larger from 26” to 30”) with wheels and a longer gas lift cylinder tube. When the chair arrived, as I put it together, I replaced the base with the rolling base and the new cylinder was too tall, so I used the one provided. The rolling base added 4” to the height, so now at the lowest setting it’s perfect for a normal desk or higher.I have a L-shape, sit-stand desk and 5 large monitors, I wanted to be able to recline back and work, and it’s much easier on the back. The seat padding towards the back is a little thin, if you work long hours. The seat cushion does have zipper access and there is enough room to add another piece of foam or to change it out with a slightly thicker and dense gel foam. I have a 2” gel chair pad that I put in above the foam, but I really need to just order thicker foam to replace what’s there. If you try this, just make sure you measure correctly. At some point, I may get a larger base and a little longer gas lift, but for now, it’s perfect. Also, many other recliners had a foot rest under the seat that can be pulled out. But they have just 2 thin bars to support the fully extended foot rest and look like they’d break easily. This one is much more sturdy since it’s more like a traditional recliner chair that lifts up. Reclined all the way back with leg rests up, you can almost achieve a zero gravity position. It was also fairly easy to put together, I followed advice about final bolt tightening and adjusting the chair before you completely tighten the bolts, which avoids any misalignments.Wish they had more colors, but the black is just fine.I also purchased a keyboard and mouse shelf which is on a swing arm and attaches to the cylinder of the chair and it makes it just so much better. At the moment, mine is attached to a pole on my desk. This attached to the chair, allows me to be farther back from my desk and with a few monitor tilts, totally comfortable to work while reclined. It’s totally worth it!!

Things To Consider Before Buying
-Assembly: will be very difficult if you are by yourself. The instructions are not the worst, but also not the best. Definitely not super clear. With one person it will be frustrating to get right. With two people it's not so bad.-Chair Base: If you want a chair that will stay in place and never move then this is for you. Otherwise you will need to buy a chair replacement base with wheels.-Massage: The massage is not at all like a fancy expensive massage chair, it's mostly just small vibration. However, if you're sitting in a chair a lot it does provide a change of pace and relaxes you a bit. But don't expect any tension in your muscles to actually be released.-Cup Holder: the cup holder is not shallow at all it's roughly 1.5 inches deep. It CAN hold cups but it's also easy for them to fall.-Pillows/Head Rest: this really depends on your posture. If you already have good posture, the back pillows and head pillow will support you. However, if you don't have the best posture you will want to remove them to slouch a bit, which they can easily be removed.-Recliner: last but not least, the recliner is pretty good actually. It reclines pretty far back, maybe not quite as far as most people would like, but probably roughly 145 degrees back. The foot support is also very good and will fully support your legs to provide optimal lounging experience.

Good Chair Excellent Customer Service!
My first chair had a broken bar and it leaned a little for that, so I took off a star, but I gave the star back because of the great service of the seller. They simply asked me for a couple pictures of the broken piece and even though they said it would function, it would be less sturdy than they originally promised. I expressed concern, because I am not a light individual and it seemed to lean to one side. They simply said they understood and sent a new chair….no dismantling of the old chair, no shipping the whole chair or bad piece back…NO HASSLE, they just sent a new chair…EXACTLY what good customer service should be. I understand there may be a lemon or two or in my case what I believe was perhaps a rough shipping experience based on the appearance of the box, but the buyer isn’t supposed to have to jump through hoops for a problem they didn’t create and so many vendors miss that point. This vendor gets it and I will be happy to purchase from them again. I have now had the chair a few months and really like it. I like the dull leg rest and lifting mechanism much better than that of my old gaming chair, it is also more comfortable for my legs since it is one piece instead of a single cushion that you push out (like my old chair). I was originally afraid I wouldn’t care for the fact that it isn’t on wheels…and that would be nice, but I really don’t miss it…never used that function much anyway as the swivel is what I use. I haven’t used the massage part much, so really can’t speak to it. It certainly feels sturdy, but obviously only time will tell. I am certainly willing to give this vendor another chance either way because of the fair way I was treated when I did have an issue.

Perfect Home Office + Gaming Chair (Some tweaks required)
I was a little surprised this was going to work. I was looking for an office chair that could also recline with a leg rest for post-work sessions in front of the computer. Primary concerns with this chair was that it does not have wheels and I was concerned about the height being too high or too short (even with the adjustable height built-in) for a typical office desk.Based on at least a couple reviewer's suggestions I ordered this with the intention of modifying it. Adding the wheels was easy (shout out to Vala’s Dad for the recommendation). I just looked for "28" chair base replacement" and found the one that came with wheels. Yes, this mod actually works without any tools. Just slip the gas lift cylinder that comes with the chair into the base and presto!Secondly, I hacked the upper-back pillow a little with some duct tape (yes, really ugly) but this was necessary to provide a more comfortable resting position. I am average height so either the manufacturers expected a child to use this or really wanted you to have a pillow pushing right into the top of your back. Now it works better as a support for my neck.Last, but not least, I added the Ergonomic Keyboard Laptop Mouse Stand Mount which compliments the setup. You definitely can use an office desk and have your keyboard mouse there (obviously depends on your desk. I have the "Julian Writing Desk") but to enjoy reclining the keyboard and mouse stand was the icing on the cake. Yes, it was a little time consuming to setup for this office chair (few hours) but the vast majority of time was installing the mouse stand portion. It required drilling and, since I didn't have the correct length screws for the arm rest, I had to cut off the ends of the screws so it'd secure correctly.

Great at falling apart
So bought this chair, in fact two of them for two computer desks. One chair had the gas cylinder fail a few weeks ago. My chair had the stitching start splitting and the cup arm had the worst padding ever, in fact it feels like there is no padding. Then, today while sitting in my chair, the back decided that it was going to stay in the reclined position permanently. I have seen some of these chairs and tried them but never again. I thought I was getting a good quality chair, but in reality, just another cheap chair that someone tried to sell as quality. I don't even expect the seller to contact me and if they do, then I will annotate this review. I would suggest you look elsewhere for spending your money on a gaming chair.
