## Description

Product Description About Us Dedicated to creating the best watches for our customers since 1950, both ORIENT and ORIENT STAR provide exquisite style and meticulous timekeeping, no matter which line you choose from.

Review: Excellent watch. Amazing value - I had a few Seikos already so I decided to get an Orient for my next addition and I was highly impressed. Excellent finishing and detail. The lume is comparable to Seiko or Citizen. Bezel action is tight with no back play. Hacking with hand winding and screw down crown. It's a bit large but not a deal breaker. If you're wrist is 7" and up your good. I got the black rubber strap version, but I've had it on NATO's , leather straps, tropic, etc. Definitely a "strap monster" at 22mm. Accuracy is fantastic. Maybe I got lucky but it's consistently around 5 seconds per day which is well within specs for the F692 inhouse movement inside and one of the more accurate mechanical watches I own. I've had this watch for over a year at the time of this review and I can honestly say for the $155 purchase price, it's probably the best value for what you get. Forget AliExpress Chinese homages with off the shelf NH35 movements. For the same money you get an in-house calibre movement, brand heritage, excellent finishing and detail from a watch maker that will stand behind their watches. Buy this watch and you won't be disappointed!
Review: Great everyday casual watch - I purchased the black dial/red bezel Kano on the rubber strap, then the blue dial on the metal bracelet. These Kano watches are great for those with larger wrists, especially the rubber strap versions. With a 44mm diameter and 50mm lug-to-lug, they're pretty large watches. The rubber strap is surprisingly comfortable, so much so that I kept it on rather than swapping it with a Nato strap. I have 8.25-inch (210mm) wrists, and it fits with holes to spare. The blue dial watch is stunning. The pictures do not do the dial justice. Pros and cons: Great movement, excellent bezel (a bit tight until you work it in, but no play at all), screw-down crown, and a good rubber strap. Cons: Most of these are understandable given the price point of the Kano series. Mineral crystal, not sapphire. The metal bracelet has a few issues, like stamped metal clasp and hollow end links. But again, that's kind of expected for this price. I was a bit disappointed that the bracelet was so short (especially given that the rubber strap was a decent length). I had to purchase an extra link from Orient so it would fit my wrist. One would think the target market for this watch are those with large wrists, so having a short bracelet was an odd marketing choice. Love the watches and they are in the rotation to wear. If your wrist can handle the size, I highly recommend the Kano.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it worth the $200.00 tag? Or better ones can be had for the price?**
A: Definitely worth the money. Equivalent to a $300 Seiko.

**Q: Is this even legit? the name of the watch is misspelled throughout the entire listing. it's a kanno, not kano. go to the orient website to to see.**
A: Orient changed the name of the watch. It used to be spelled "Kano" and is now spelled: "Kanno," for whatever reason. If you do a web search for "Orient Kano" you will get links to all the same sites and "Orient Kanno." It's is a legit watch: comes in an Orient box and Orient case, with an Orient tag, instruction manual and Guarantee booklet.

**Q: There seems to be the exact same kano orient watch on amazon ( model no. ens in a) for 9 dollars less but the model number ends in the letter b?**
A: Export model. No Kanji date wheel. Buy the A and save $9.

**Q: Amazon description says its not suitable for diving? But isnt this supposedly a diver watch?**
A: "Dive watch" is a category of watches that hsare similar traits (i.e. 200M water resistance, unidirectional bezel, screw down caseback) which makes them suitable for most any water activities. A "true" diver's watch meets ISO 6245 requirements. ISO 6425 requires that each watch is tested to 125% of its depth rating prior to being sold. Further is a unidirectional bezel mandatory, and the hour and minute hand, marker on the bezel, as well as the running second’s hand, must be visible in the dark at a distance of 25 cm from your eyes. This is why most watches sold as dive watches, even if they don't meet full ISO standards, have awesome lume. The watches also have to meet criteria for salt water resistance, thermal shock resistance, and a degree of resistance to magnetism. Each and every watch sold with the "Diver's Watch" designation are tested individually and this process is carried out independently of the watch manufacturer in a certified ISO lab. In summation, if the watch says "Diver's Watch" along with the water resistance rating, its going to be a tough watch. I think legally it has to be ISO certified to be labeld "Diver's Watch" or "Diver's 200M" etc.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good looking, handsome, and striking watch.
*by R***R on February 15, 2026*

This is my 7th Orient watch. I have all the colors, including Pepsi diver. This watch is good looking and handsome. This watch is the perfect size, not to big not to small,Just right. Japanese made movement and the deep red color on bezel is awesome. I got this watch for 70th birthday present. I would say best choice so far of all the watches I have. For the money the watch costs, it’s a must have. Value and super good looking.
