Forever Survival Knife with Nylon Sheath and Firestarter

Dollar for dollar this is as good a knife as you can get. I added this knife to my collection of hunting knives because of it's large handle which is made of a non slip material. The blade is thick and is shaped in a drop point configuration that I like. The sheath is adequate and holds a fire starter stick. All in all you won't loose any money on this knife. Excellent knife for all around use. I will use it to dress white tail deer this fall.

This is a solid knife, blade nearly 1/4" thick, full and sharp. Very strong point. The grip is large enough for huge hands, and I find it to be very comfortable. Compared to the Bear Grylls Ultimate Survival knife, this knife is larger, heavier, and stouter, and likely has better steel (Puma German Stainless). I tried the firestarter once and it works well using the square back spine of the knife blade. This also told me the knife coating is good because it was not marred by the fire steel. The sheath is kind of minimalist nylon with dense foam blade protectors on each side. It is adequate and lightweight. The outside pouch holds the firestarter nicely and has a little extra room for maybe some fish hooks and line. The overall fit and finish on this knife is of high quality. The only reason I rated 4 stars is because I feel it would be a better survival type knife if it had a stainless steel hammer pommel, like the Bear Grylls, and other survival knife models. The pommel of this knife is covered with the rubberized plastic handle material and would not hold up to pounding. Overall though, this would be a great woods carry or hunting knife that would serve many functions well. Highly recommended at this price point!

Have several ,never had a bad one. This one will make a great all purpose knife for camping/hunting

Everything is good

Not as sharp as i wish it could be even after sharpening. The case seems cheap. Overall a very sturdy knife and does what it suppose to do. A good value for the price.
