SAKURA Pen-Touch Paint Markers - UV Marker Pen for Black Lights - UV Visible Ink - Assorted Tips Size - 3 Pack

This is the first time I've used anything like this and it was a learning experience. It works extremely well and is very water resistant. This is both good and bad. If you get it on your hands, it is extremely difficult to get off. It takes some hard scrubbing to get it off the skin but does not scrub off the fingernails. Had to use nail polish remover to get it off the nails and even then, there were areas where it just took a few days for it to wear off naturally. Strongly recommend using examination gloves when using this product. The pen has a felt tip with a plunger at one end to feed liquid to the tip. It comes out as a clear liquid and if you get the right light angle, you can see where it has been applied. I used this to add visibility to the markings on my rain gauge which were very difficult to see at night.

These UV fluorescent markers from Sakura are excellent for creating otherwise invisible markings on many materials. They prime easily and flow well, glowing a very light blue color under UV light. The metal casings are high quality, which is no surprise, as Sakura tends to make high quality products.

These are great for writing things on the wall or items and then the students go around with flashlight to fine the messages. Can be used for lots of different lessons.

This item deserves a five-star rating, but it has a problem.These three pens come with instructions on how to prime the tips, but the user needs to be very careful with that priming.The instructions say to first shake with the tip up. Then, as you get ready to use it, to press the tip to prime it.However, if the pressing happens while the tip is at all lower then horizontal, the UV fluid will gush out in great quantity.My recommendation is to shake with tip up (as the instructions say) and then gently gently and slowly slowly press the tip with the tip in a true horizontal angle, all the while being careful to watch for the fluid starting to come out of the pen.

I didn't like putting my labesl on my quilting rules. The labels alwasy seem to be in the way. So these black light markers are perfect casue I write my name on evrything and as I always carry a black light, it makes finding my rules SUPER easy.

Tip came off when priming and it shot off and leaked uv everywhere my whole room glows

Good pens, good sizes, ink glows nice and bright. It’s maybe 70% invisible when dry, like all other UV markers, it’s going to leave a sheen/gloss where it’s been written that you can see if you hit it with the right angle of light.

Great product. Just what I needed.
