Why does the one i bought seem to be filled with compressed air?

If there's something wrong return it but air wouldn't keep it puffy so it's most likely just the super lightweight stuffing (if your dog is a chewer the stuffing is a nightmare)

Is this water buffalo leather?

Probably not. The tag didnt say anything about what kind of leather it is. Its a super cheap toy so I really doubt it
