Strong, Tasty Beans
The Borbone Espresso beans are top quality. I use them mostly as half/half with my morning pot; they add power and flavor to drip coffee. The beans have a balanced, rounded taste without bitterness and a nice lingering feel.Well worth the money.

Hassle Free, Great Flavor, Great Consistent Shots everyday, no adjustments to be made.
For someone who doesn't write reviews, you should read this. After trying about 10 different machines both super and semi automatic and about 30 different types of espresso beans from Lavazza, Kimbo, etc and even with all the many factors with grind size, age of beans etc. This bag of beans comes great every time no matter the setting, grind amount, etc.I use these beans in my Breville Barista Express which is a semi automatic and comes and makes great rich creama, thick espresso and great flavor. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for hassle free beans. I am definitely adding this to my bi-weekly purchases and enjoy my espresso every night after dinner.Hope this helps!

Best for Latte drinks
I’ll start by writing that I drink espresso only. I’ll make an occasional cappuccino. I mainly buy Lavazza brand espresso whole bean and I prefer 100% Arabica. This is mixture of Arabica and Robusta beans which I knew before purchasing, however, it is mainly Robusta. Dark roasted and very oily. It does produce a thick crema and does better in mixed espresso drinks as opposed to straight espresso. You can taste the dark roast and there is no acidic taste at all. Just deep, dark chocolate notes. I like lighter roasted non oily bean espresso so this isn’t for me, but if you like dark roast oily beans for mixed espresso drinks, then give it a try.

Reminiscent of Italy
My husband loves this espresso! Ever since our trip to Italy we have tried at least a dozen different kinds of espresso and this is the one that reminds him most of our trip.

Perfect for home espresso machines
We have a Breville espresso machine with the hopper so we can grind our own coffee per serving. We have tried many different types of espresso beans and brands (everything from Lavazza, to Kimbo, to Illy, to local roasters as well as Starbucks) but nothing tastes as good as this one does. It's not acidic and the size of the bean is perfect (not too big, not to small) and they are fresh-which makes a huge difference in flavor and aroma. I can't recommend it enough. This one is a keeper.

Not for me
The roast is like Starbucks. The beans were oily and seemed burnt. This is undrinkable as an americano but could be used as an espresso if you make a moka. I was able to blend the beans it with another local roasted bean and make it acceptable. Lavazza espresso actually blows this away and that is just a good above average espresso bean.
