Life Saver! *by I***I on November 16, 2023* I moved to the mountains where we have a system to collect and bring water to different properties. It’s mostly open air with a few grates to catch debris, but it gets clogged, now much more often that’s it’s autumn. The other problem is that now the water has gotten extremely cold, and will only get colder when it begins to snow. Having to plunge my entire arm in to clear the grates countless times is pure torture and there was no way I could continue to do the job every few days without some protection. These gloves are PERFECT! They aren’t too think in the fingers that I can’t grab, so it has good grip. I can clear the grates out no problem. The plastic for the arms is think enough to make the job doable and quick. I feel the cold, obviously, but there’s no comparison to being in it. I just got them, so we shall see how they hold up but by all appearances they look well made and very durable. I’m confident that they will last without getting holes as I’m just working in cold water for very short periods of time.
