Hunting Shotgun Stock Extension Slip on Recoil Pad (Large)

The pad is well made of heavy leather, it has a flap made with excellent quality Velcro to securely fasten it in place. The color is consistent throughout and the fit is perfect. A quality piece of workmanship.

Stock protector fits welll and looks good on the stock. I have not fired yet but it seems to provide a good bit of cushion for against the shoulder.

Wonderful addition to shotguns that need just a little length of pull adjustments. They don't make a huge difference in recoil but, for us, that is not an issue. This is the third we've purchased and all three are awesome.

Bought this in a size Large for my Pedersoli 1886 Winchester in 45-70. Previously had bought a size Large Kick Killer to install, but found out it wasn’t big enough for the Velcro to fasten securely. Only overlapped a half inch or so. The Tourbon overlaps much more, although not as much in the factory picture. Didn’t want to buy this one at first because it is made in China, but in my opinion is a much better fitting and looking recoil pad than the Kick Killer. Didn’t give it 5 stars because of the China thing, plus I haven’t shot the rifle yet to see how well it reduces the recoil.

Well made and great fit on shotgun without adding too much length.

I use this with new shotgun shooters if they need more length on their gun as an interim for them to get a fitting done. I have some spacers to put inside the boot, and it can add up to 1.5-2 inches length if needed to the butt stock. Works great.

I own 3 of these TOURBON brand recoil pads. I use them just to get some extra length on the stock. They have all been used for 1000's of rounds and are holding up perfectly. An added bonus is that they are much less expensive than other similar offerings.

Put it on my Winchester model 70 in .300 Weatherby Magnum, and it's made the recoil way better! I've used Kick-eez, Pachmyr, and Limbsaver recoil pads on my 12ga. shotguns. I've shot .45-70 without a pad and 00 buck shot in 3 1/2 inch magnum shells without a pad. I would easily put this pad on par with any of the other brands, as far as performance is concerned; I think the other pads would perform only equal to this. In the area of looks, this comes out far ahead and seems to be very well-made. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase! Two side notes to consider: 1. If you have a rear sling swivel stud, this may require you to remove it before slipping your pad on. 2. If your rifle's butt has a cheek rest shelf and is not simply smooth on both sides of the butt, the recoil pad will not fit perfectly either, but will have small gaps near the raised section of the stock. It will still work, but the fitment will be a little off. Hope this helps!

I bought a size small first and it fit perfectly but after ordering/returning three size large, all had the pad sewed on crooked.
